TBT 3

A few more of the photos my GF took in the Big Bend Area in 1919-1920.  These will be the last of this series.  Be sure to click on each photo, some have his labels describing where he was.



 
He had told me they used solid core tires, rough ride but the only thing that would hold up in those roadless wastes.

This one was in Arizona.  It was labeled as the 464th Squadron's pet Gila Monster.

 
Next TBT I will try to post a few interesting ones from my Dad's Naval service.
