On the way home Sunday morning and this bad boy pulled out in front of us. Click on it for a bigger better shot.
I am no expert but I believe that is a WW 2 era T34-85 Soviet tank. What is that doing here in Texas?!?!? Wish I could have spent some time getting better pics with it on the ground.

It's a T-34 alright, but I think it's the even rarer version, the T-34/76.
In 1975 when I was going through the Basic School at MCB Quantico, there was a T-34/85 by the armory that had been captured in the Korean War. You could get inside and crank the turrent around. The only time I've seen a T34-76 in real life was at the Aberdeen Maryland Armor museum in 1976. I think they moved the whole museum to Virginia later on.
I wonder who got that tank, and where it was going?
Maybe here.

Interesting, and I think Tim may be correct as to the location... But that would be a tad strange to see driving by!!! :-)
The drive tanks link is the first thing i thought when i saw it. However it pulled out of one street and turned down the next, less than 500'. Oh and those streets don't really go anywhere. It was pretty cool anyway.
